I had a wonderful buying experience overall with TATA motors chikodi. A satisfied customer! Here is my story of buying Nexon. The waiting period was of 1 to 2 months when I booked the car. It was delivered well within the time (within a month of booking the car which is amazing). I booked the car on 23 January 2023 and the car was delivered on 18 February 2023. It was the second week of February, TATA motors announced in the media that they have fully transitioned to Bs6ph2 compliant engines. I was concerned whether I would get a BS6ph1 car. Fortunately, I got the bs6ph2 with better engine refinement and warranty of 3years or 1L kms. Another positive box to tick. I had to visit Belgaum TATA motors showroom to complete the PDI of my car. Everything went well with the PDI. However, this is one point that Manickbag Belgaum showroom should consider and they expand their chikodi branch further to get everything done at Chikodi itself. I know recently they have opened their service station at Chikodi which is great. Delivery: After the PDI, I had asked the showroom people to deliver it as soon as possible and we agreed on Friday. The car was in the chikodi showroom by Friday morning with all the accessories well fit. However, I took the delivery on Saturday due to road tax clearance being done late in the evening on Friday. I must talk about the showroom executive/floor manager Mr. Mallikarjun Shirganve who has been amazing at his work. There are numerous times I called/texted over WhatsApp (even after their working hours). He always answered my queries in time. There were no delays here. I am pretty happy with the way he has handled this! One suggestion to the other customers is, please do your own research about the car you want to buy (for example press releases) and be aware of the buying procedure. Don't expect the executives to explain every minute thing in detail. They will surely explain if you ask them but there will always be small things that get missed if you are not well prepared.
