I drive a brand-new Tata Nexon Diesel (just 6 months old) that had a persistent front-end suspension/steering issue from day one. I had visited more than 10 authorized Tata service centers across different cities and states, but no one could trace or diagnose the root cause despite multiple attempts and complaints. While passing through Tuticorin, I stopped by Derik Motors on Ettayapuram Road. From the moment the job card was opened, the team was swift and professional. Special shout-out to the master technician whom everyone respectfully calls "Chittappa" and his fellow mechanic. I remember meeting Chittappa years ago during my childhood when we used to bring our Tata Indigo to Susee Tata in Tuticorin. Instead of taking quick guesses, Chittappa put the car on the ramp, inspected it thoroughly, and took it for multiple extensive test drives (over 10 km) to accurately diagnose the problem under load. He pinpointed the exact issue: an improperly torqued tie-rod end (wheel end rod) from the factory assembly. They torqued it down to spec, and the car finally drives like a dream—completely smooth and solid! Months of headache and escalation emails solved in just a few hours here. Huge respect to Chittappa and the service team at Derik Motors Tuticorin. Tata Motors should be proud of technicians of this caliber. Highly recommended to anyone looking for genuine, top-tier technical expertise!

Glad to be the 150th person to post a review. Owning a Tata Altroz for more than five years and having experienced worst customer service almost in all the service centers in Chennai, I can definitely say these guys are best! In Tuticorin! I usually travel to Tuticorin few times every year and last week when I was about to start from there, the car radiator got major problems and I had to leave it in Derik Tata for service. Manager Mr. Kanagaraj and service advisor Vineeth were professional and gave clear commitments and expectations. Fixed all the problems and handed over the car as promised. I see mixed reviews about this service center. However, mine is based on purely my own experience. Finally, there is still room for Tata to improve its cars' quality (not the build quality but the spares quality) and service experience overall. But this Derik Tata Tuticorin and its people mentioned above standout! I wish them all the very best.
