"My Experience with TAFE Tata Motors Workshop, Trichy Road, Coimbatore" I deliberately waited until after a long drive before posting this review, as I wanted to assess the actual performance of my car following the work carried out by the workshop. My Tata Tiago was at the workshop for around 21 days for various service and warranty-related jobs, including steering-related work. After taking delivery, we completed a long-distance journey of approximately 975 km, in addition to local driving. Overall, the car performed very well, and the driving experience was smooth and reassuring. I am pleased with the outcome of the major work carried out. I would particularly like to appreciate Ms. Jenifer Ruby, CRM, for her courteous and approachable manner. She was willing to listen to my concerns and coordinate with the concerned staff. I appreciated her customer-friendly approach and the attention she gave to the matters brought to her notice. I wish her every success in her career. Mr. Suresh, the floor mechanic, also deserves appreciation for his respectful and courteous conduct, both in person and over the phone. His involvement in the vehicle's work and the subsequent test drive was reassuring. There are, however, a couple of areas where the workshop could improve. After taking delivery, I noticed that one of the front rubber floor mats was missing. I also noticed a small hole-like mark on the fabric of the rear-right seat. Both matters were brought to the workshop's attention, and photographs were shared. I am not making any assumption about how or when the seat mark occurred, but a more thorough final inspection before handing over the vehicle would be desirable. Unfortunately, I have not received any further update on these matters. Communication and updates during a lengthy workshop stay could also be more proactive. Overall, my experience with the actual vehicle work has been positive, and the 975-km journey gave me a good opportunity to assess the results. I thank the workshop team and particularly appreciate Jenifer and Suresh for their courteous approach. I hope the team will take the feedback on final inspection and follow-up in the constructive spirit intended. My best wishes to Jenifer for her future career.
